Hoopla

OverDrive/Libby

With Hoopla, you can instantly borrow audiobooks, music, movie, TV shows, e-books, and comics for free. The best part? No late fees.  Everything automatically returns. You receive 8 checkouts per month with your card. No WiFi? No problem! You can download the materials you’ve borrowed to your device for streaming without using WiFi or wasting data.

Signing up is simple. Download the Hoopla app to your phone or tablet or visit hoopladigital.com. Input an email, a password, and your library card number (on the back of your card) and you’re ready to use Hoopla! If you need assistance getting started with Hoopla, ask a library staff member!

Libby is an app created by Overdrive. Both the Overdrive app and Libby app are available for download and use. They have different names, but they have the same content!

Libby/Overdrive offers popular audiobook and e-book titles. The user-friendly app guides you step by step through signing up. All you need is your library card! Like Hoopla, there are no late fees to worry about and downloading borrowed material to your device is simple. Unlike Hoopla, you can browse for titles that are immediately available or add your name to a holds list. If you need assistance getting started with ebooks and audiobooks, ask a library staff member!
