Fun Fact: What is now the Rock Hill Public Library was built in 1964 and has been home to donuts, paint swatches, and books! Our building is 54 years old, and it’s time for some repairs! We are replacing the single-pane windows with safer, double-pane windows.

The library will be closed from Monday, August 27th through Monday, September 3rd for window installation. The Book Drop will be open during the week. (This is subject to change. Please visit our website for updates through the week.) Patrons are encouraged to drop off books at other Municipal Library Consortium (MLC) libraries for speedier check in. Patrons will have extended check out times for Rock Hill library materials, so no fines will accrue during the week! If you have any questions, you can call the library at 314-962-4723 and visit our website for more information at www.rockhillpubliclibrary.org.

The library will reopen on Tuesday, September 4th. We can’t wait to see you for Chair Yoga, Scrabble, STEM Club, Storytime, and more in September!  We appreciate your patience as we improve the library!
